New Campaign: Retiring During Volatile Markets

Preparing for retirement can be a nerve-wracking experience during the best of times. Add in some market volatility and a years-long pandemic, and the stress just mounts. This campaign provides advisors with the messaging to show clients that their financial plan is the best defense against undesirable outcomes as a result of volatility. After all, strong financial plans are not contingent upon good markets.

Improved Client List

Orion Planning’s client list has been updated so you now have an option to filter your plans between clients and prospects. The design of the list has also been updated so the names of your clients are easier to read. Both of these updates are based on feedback from our users and we expect to make more enhancements to the client list in the future!

Integrations

Pershing / Fidelity Documents Account Number Mask

Orion provides quick access for clients to their Pershing or Fidelity documents (statements, tax documents, trade confirms, etc) within the Orion Client Portal. After receiving great feedback that advisors and clients did not want the account number appearing in the file name and description, we have masked the number adding additional privacy and security. This does not alter the content within the document.

How to get there: Client Portal > Document Vault > Pershing or Fidelity Documents

Reporting

Accessibility Improvements

Recently Orion has been taking steps to ensure that our system is more accessible for all users.  Behind the scenes last month we updated our PDF file type for reports to a format that works with assistive reader technologies like Voiceover for Mac, and TalkBack for Android users.

Another change that is coming out with our April build is a visual update to our Donut and Pie Charts.  In the April release we are implementing white divider lines to help users more easily distinguish between sections on these charts.
