Market*r
Based on the new workflow available in Orion Planning, this campaign shows how you use the latest in behavioral finance research to guide clients through the process of bucketing their investments in a way that uses their inherent biases to their advantage.
The campaign to provide insights into the past quarter’s market performance has been updated to include data from Q1 of 2022.
Financial Planning
We have enhanced our cash flow and balance sheet viewing experience. Regardless of the number of rows that have been expanded, users can always stay oriented to the rolling year and client ages while viewing these detailed reports.
Client Portal
Firms will now have the ability to customize the name that users see on their browser tab for the client portal. This further white labels the client portal experience, making it truly your own.
We have added the “Show Performance” setting from the Client Experience App into the client portal. This will allow users greater flexibility in controlling whether to show or hide performance at various levels in the portal. With this change we will no longer have the “Access to Performance” toggle inside the client portal under Configure Access. If you do not want to show performance to clients you’ll want to be sure to update the Show Performance setting to off inside the Client Experience App now before this change takes effect.
Trading
We have added the ability to TLH Astro accounts from the accounts grid in Eclipse.
Portfolio Interactions
If any graphs in the portfolio view are grouped by Product or have a Benchmark grouping, the colors assigned to these in their respective applications will now reflect in the Portfolio View.
We have added two audit tasks to the Quarter End Dashboard. The first is for sleeve users to review custodial account balances and will populate if the database entity option ‘Sleeve Trading’ is enabled.
The 2nd task is for a DST override. If your firm has DST as a download source and active DST accounts, this task will populate on your QE Dashboard. This allows your firm to proceed with QE Billing and Reporting after your core reconciliation has been completed. If the user chooses to proceed without quarter end DST reconciliation complete, the user will need to agree to a legal disclaimer and then will be able to proceed with dashboard completion.
In the Portfolio View settings, we have modified the current toggle to disable registrations in the Investment Tree. Now, users will have the option to show both Registrations and Accounts in the tree or only Registrations or only Accounts.
Representative level users will now have the ability to adjust settings they have been given access to in the Client Experience app. These users will only have access to the Settings portion which is now tied to the privilege ‘Client Portal Admin’.
Cards with groupings in the Portfolio View now have 2 additional options to group by: Custodian and Fund Family. This provides yet another way to view and aggregate your client data in the Portfolio View.
Integrations
With this next release, we are updating the criteria that captures which assets are included in each sync to a firm’s Salesforce org in order to match that of a recent account level enhancement.
Salesforce syncs will include assets if:
- They were edited/created in the last 30 days OR
- Have a transaction within the last 30 days OR
- Have a non-zero value
Reporting
This is a Report Builder enhancement that allows users to run multiple reports for selected client(s) at the same time. This allows users more flexibility when it comes to creating client specific report packages. Beta testing includes the landing pages, overall layout, selecting reports, reviewing selections & generation of reports.
This is a Report Builder enhancement that allows users to adjust the way the Cost Per Share tag functions. Users now have the ability to identify the Cost Per Share Method that suits their firm (Valuation Price or Percentage of Par).
This is a Report Builder enhancement that allows users to include the Cash Distribution Amount for Alternative Assets within Reports. This allows users more flexibility when it comes to Alternative & Ultra High Net Worth Reporting capabilities.
This will change the ‘Save’ button to ‘Close’ on the Scheduled Queries editor (Query Builder) and remove the Cancel button (bottom right).
This update will allow for a password limit of up to 128 characters when setting up an SFTP upload target.
This update will no longer allow users to schedule a query if the day/time is not selected. A new dynamic date filename name will now be available for selection: yyyyMMddHHmmss
Billing
This enhancement gives the user the ability to take an existing ‘payout fee schedule’, make a copy, edit changes, and then save it as a new ‘payout fee schedule.’
Data Reconciliation
With the implementation of the last recon date functionality in Portfolio Audit we’ve been looking for situations that could misrepresent the cleanliness of a portfolio’s reconciliation when looking at one of the higher portfolio levels such as Household, Registration, or account. There are use cases where an account houses one or more Advisor Maintained assets alongside traditionally downloading and reconciled assets.
With this update we will exclude the Advisor Maintained assets from the reconciliation check and therefore those assets will no longer generate the reconciliation warnings in Portfolio Audit.
