The Orion Client Portal is on the Way

Building strong connections with your clients is at the heart of your business. With Orion’s new, more intuitive Client Portal at their fingertips, your clients are empowered to stay invested in their journey toward financial wellness—and to collaborate with you.

Beginning August 2022, your firm will be transitioned to Orion’s Client Portal, giving your clients greater access to their full financial picture, providing more transparency and seamlessly placing you at the center of their financial well-being.

Tip: Bookmark this page so you have easy access to all of the details, training and resources you need to navigate your transition from the “Legacy Client (Investor) Portal” to the Orion Client Portal.

Your Next Steps

Step 1:

Sign off on the Terms & Conditions for Orion Planning

First things first, we need you to enable the Orion Planning app for your firm by accepting the Terms & Conditions found in the Integrations app.* Please add this tool to your toolbelt from the Integrations app and simply follow the prompts on the screen.

*NOTE: You are not required to use Orion Planning, however, the upgraded Client Portal experience uses the Orion Planning technology as part of its framework, which is why the app needs to be turned on.

Step 2:

Review the settings in your Client Portal with Orion Support resources

Next up on your journey to the Client Portal experience is a quick review of the settings. Navigate through the settings using the “Orion Client Portal Settings in the Client Experience App” knowledge article found in the Orion Connect > Support App.

Step 3:

Carve out some time on your end to prepare for the Client Portal transition at your firm

Make sure to find some time in the coming weeks to give yourself a chance to learn more about the Client Portal experience and prepare yourself with answers to the questions you know your clients may ask.

Step 4:

Draft messaging to your clients around the change to prepare them

Keep your clients in the loop with these pending updates using the customizable templates we’ve provided for you on the Training & Resources page under Resources for Your Client!
